I figured I’d try to get a post up here on the blog since Paddy O’ has been on a tear, throwing up another Colts’ Offseason Post. Don’t worry folks, I’ll get this straightened out and have him posting in the regular season when (and if) it starts back up.
One thing I wanted to mention was that listening to the Super Bowl on the radio they (I think Boomer?!?) said that both QBs had to wear a wristband with the plays. He then went on to say the ol’ “back in my day we didn’t need no stinkin’ wristbands” but realizing he just criticized Rodgers and Big Ben, he quickly backpedaled and said how the playbooks were much more complicated today and that only one quarterback could memorize a whole playbook and that was our own Peyton Manning.
Second, when I am not channeling The Father, I am now apparently channeling The Paddy. When he is not an offseason blogging fiend, he is sending me things to post. What he sent along was the uber-cool link to Jeff Fisher’s newspaper ad thanking the the Titans’ fans for all the memories. This is a testament to what a good guy Fisher is. And, as always (alliteration), a chance to criticize Caldwell (alliteration again which itself is alliterative) and state that he would never put up an ad saying thanks to the fans when we get him fired (soon).
Finally, in support of Paddy’s ongoing complaints about interviewers with XX chromosomes, I was truly shocked by the post-game interview with Greg Jennings in which the interviewer DID NOT HAVE A QUESTION! That was almost as bad as screwing up the national anthem.
Now, with the Super Bowl over, expect multiple daily posts from Paddy.
